[Gentoo]samba の設定

デフォルトのバージョンは 3.0.2a。ユーザを作成して、

smbpasswd -a dan

設定は簡単に。

nano /etc/samba/smb.conf

で smb.conf ファイルを編集。

[global]

# 1. Server Naming Options:
# workgroup = NT-Domain-Name or Workgroup-Name
   workgroup = WORKGROUP

# server string is the equivalent of the NT Description field
   server string = coLinux on Windows

[homes]
   comment = Home Directories
   browseable = no
   writable = yes
# You can enable VFS recycle bin on a per share basis:
# Uncomment the next 2 lines (make sure you create a
# .recycle folder in the base of the share and ensure
# all users will have write access to it. See
# examples/VFS/recycle/REAME in the samba docs for details
;   vfs object = /usr/lib/samba/vfs/recycle.so

起動させる。

/etc/init.d/samba start
